Objective, Vision & Mission
Founded by Mr. Yao Ling Sun, a prominent architect, our school was established in 1982. We are a full-time co-ed grammar school which is subsidized by the government located at Shek Wai Kok Estate.
Being dedicated to serving the community is the main objective of Po Leung Kuk. It adheres to the public interests and provides a prompt response to the development of our society. Our school has our students’ best interests at heart to provide excellent education for them.
Our motto is ‘Love, Respect, Diligence, Honesty’. We are determined to provide opportunities of acquiring knowledge, learning skills and exercise for our students. We also focus on providing a balanced education which nurtures our students to be virtuous and noble with positive values towards life so that they can contribute to our society. Hong Kong is an international city. We encourage our students to take part in social services in order to develop their affection for and sense of responsibility towards our country. We also expect them to love and be loyal to our country.
To equip students to be global citizens for our home and country, we are dedicated to:
